A sea was almost dry in the Long Island

Unique events occur when Hurricane Irma hit the Caribbean region. A Sea in the Bahamas was almost dry after the water was suctioned by the storm a few days ago. This strange event is caused by the force of the storm that draws water toward its center. People who see this unique phenomenon instantly perpetuate this rare phenomenon in photos and videos and spread rapidly in social media.
Angela Fritz, the Washington Post weather editor explained "Low pressure is essentially a suctioning mechanism. It sucks air into it, and when it's really low, it can change the shape of the ocean's surface, "

"However, this is not a tsunami sign. Water will return to Long Island, and probably will not rush back with great power. Maybe it will be back on Sunday afternoon, "Fritz said.

So far, the storm has killed more than 20 people in the Caribbean region. Hurricane Irma is now struck mainland Florida, United States (US) which has killed three people. This violent storm is moving to the west coast of Florida.

"My family in the Bahamas said (Hurricane) Irma sucked all the water. Literally there is no water. The beach and the sea are gone, "Twitter users @Piznack wrote.
"Sea is dry, #HurricaneIrma #Bahamas," wrote another Twitter user, @deejayeasya.
